There are several ways to quit smoking, including behavioral, social and medical methods, and best to share them all to get the best results.
Behavioral therapy:-
- At first includes desire and will and be a decision and determination or else efforts will be in vain.
- You should be aware of the risks of healthy smoking to your life and your family, as well as your knowledge of the material loss caused by smoking and health expenses.
- You have to set a definite day so that you start this project and do not wait.
- Take care of activities that keep you away from thinking about smoking.
- Stay away from anything you may want to smoke, such as drinking coffee in a particular place, meeting friends and smokers in a public Cafe.
- Get rid of all cigarette packs and tools.
- Always remember the dangers of smoking and the social problems you face because of it, as well as the health problems it was causing you like constant cough.
- Some people who have quit smoking will experience weight gain due to the depressing effect of nicotine, but weight control can be controlled. Weight gain is mild and is much less effective than continuing smoking.
Social Therapy:-
Try to get support from parents and relatives, and to participate in this work close friend to encourage you to continue, and you can communicate with the specialist doctor.
